Farnam Engineering offers machine design services for new machine or upgrades to existing machines, particularly in the continuous web processing industries, although not limited exclusively to those industries. In addition, we can offer fabrication services for equipment in some cases.

Machine design of new equipment

We can design new equipment such as unwinds, rewinds, slitters, laminators, and coaters to upgrade your process lines. The equipment can include modern electronic controls and drives, and modern tension control and web guiding capabilities. We can usually save you money!

Upgrades to Existing Equipment

It often makes sense to keep older equipment and upgrade it. The reasons may be because of the desire for more production speed or for better control required by new materials which weren't envisioned when the equipment was originally built. Talk to us about some of the options which are available to spruce up older equipment. 

Troubleshooting for web handling problems
