The first picture is of a
small, very low tension dancer for tension control on a filament
line. It is designed for movement in the horizontal plane. It
utilizes lightweight materials and an air lubricated pneumatic
actuator which has nearly zero friction. As a result, the dancer is
extremely responsive to small tension changes.
The second picture is of a standard,
general purpose dancer for use with a variety of automatic tension
controls. This particular unit has been built in various widths and
tension levels. It uses rolling diaphragm air cylinders for loading
and is built to be light and to have very low friction. This is the
type which is widely used with Dynaweb Automatic Tension Control
Systems. |
